In an not at all awkward shift in tone, yay! And furthermore, yay! Your Buffy is a delight. It took me until the third chapter to realize who she reminded me of: the Buffybot. Obviously she's not the same, but the way she's so well-intentioned, clueless, and odd, is very Buffybot-like. And the wide smile. I saw Buffybot in my head when I read that. :D

Excellent update. I love how "perky" Buffy is and how Spike is beginning to see endearing qualities in her (amazing what a bit of sobriety will do to your perception, eh?).

"It appeared that he still had an unwanted, mythological houseguest. Just what he'd always wished for…"--Love that line. Love that he's not the only one who can see her either. Hope she shares a bit more about her past, too. Poor thing must have had some kind of disaster to end up filing for like 200 years. Looking forward to your next chapter.

Let me just say that this is so not the type of fic I would usually give a second glance. But then again, this is one of *your* stories, so I gave it a shot. It's an interesting idea - very, *very* different. But in a good way. I really like it and can't wait to see what you have planned.

Ben and Jerry are as Gods **bows down** LOL Although I'm still pissy that they don't have Wavy Gravy anymore.

Spike's confusion over how clean she still is after eating every scrap isn't so surprising...I myself have been known to scrape the carton so clean it sparkles and not lose a drop on my shirt LOL

I don't know exactly how a Greek Muse is SUPPOSED to act, and more importantly...who CARES??? She's funny and endearing and hopefully inspiring...that's really all she needs to be.

Again, my condolences over the loss of your grandmother. You know where to find me if you ever need to talk :)

I love the bit about Ben and Jerry! They might actually be pixies for all I know! This is so much fun. I'm really glad you are making it your own.
