I followed a link from the LLG awards to this nominated story and I'm thoroughly impressed. Such great dialogue and your characterisations felt very authentic. That bit between Spike and Buffy - "They put a chip in my head," he said defensively. "I don't think so good now." "Whereas your evil pre chip plans all went so well," Buffy deadpanned. "You can tell from how often you killed me..." was pure fanfic gold. Think I'll go check out some of your other pieces.

Thanks for a tender and delicate story of Spike - Dawn friendship and Buffy understanding. Hit just the right notes, not too sugary.
