Okay, before I came to the end of the chapter I figured that Spike doing his impersonation of the depressing duo was my favourite bit, that was as good as in the show. But then I came to the end and Spike saying he will not let anybody else kill her because that is a right he claims for himself. Great.
And then him listing all her qualities, wish it had been said in the series.
And to get back to the killing, I guess he will be killing her over and over again.

Enjoying this story very much. You do write wonderful character pieces!

"Being so close to Buffy and not being able to be with her was the worst punishment Angel could think of and he had expected to suffer through it until his lovely girl finally fell in battle."

I adore Angel. I always have, but I can *so* see him thinking that way! I have to say Angel's leaving never made sense to me beyond "We must spin Angel off; how can we justify his leaving?"

Off to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Tee hee...I'm trying to archive whereever they let me especially with the computer problems I've been having! Yes, Angel leaving and his "reason" that wasn't.....I felt they shot that in the foot when they had Angel become the normal human he said she should have and he had tame rolled back because Buffy needed more! These were for my entry to Seasonal_Spuffy last year, you may have missed my day for posting *G*. k
