I like the depth you gave Xander, his love/lust situation with buffy was interesting to read. I was angry with him, but could sympathize. Again, 16 year old buffy is just too adorable!

great story although Spike seems a little hypocritical about Xander's attempted rape considering what he did in the show

Author's Response: Ah but Spike got his wish granted in season 4 and that situation with Buffy never happened. He never believed (until he did it in S6) that he would hurt Buffy that way. That was why he went for his soul in canon...so he wasn't a hypocrit at this point never having attacked Buffy that way in this story. Glad you liked it though . k

Oh very neat. I always love time travel fics, and taking Spike back to season 1 can only be of the good. Tricky with him not having personal memories of the time, but gives him the perfect opportunity to show from the beginning he can be a good guy without having the unfortunate history of trying to kill Buffy, and without Angelus to bugger up Buffy's emotions. I love the epilogue that hints at a 'happy ever after'...

I'm glad you're re-posting these stories in the archieves! I particularly enjoyed this one the first time around, and was delighted to have an excuse for a re-read.

"Doing it over, only knowing what no to screw up this time around" stories are a weakness of mine. This one hit a lot of my kink buttons, and I was impressed that you handled the cradle robing thing in a non-squicky way. Tricky! And Jenny is always good for Giles!

And you still tugged an my heart with Buffy's dad. Man, do I want to smack him!

It wasn't just the nightmare that caused his behavior...he opted out totally and really seemed to hold Buffy responsible. Jerk! Thanks again. Yup, the underage stuff is tricky, glad I pulled it off!
