The sounds of a key being turned, and a door squeaking as it is opened can be heard. The person at the door looks around a lavish room decorated in period furniture and lush fabrics. She sees her target sleeping on a divan and walks slowly toward her. The none-too-gentle reader shouts, "Hey, Muse," and applies the cattle prod in her hand to said Muse. "WAKE UP! I want to read the next chapter!"

Reader then leaves the chamber to sit in front of her computer, secure in the knowledge that the Muse will do her job.
