Um.... why does it seem that everyone is arguing with eachother in these reviews. It's fake people just have fun with it. It's not real its meant to be a little fun thing away from real life :) By the way I like the story keep up the good work!!!

Well I really dont want to be friends with most of the readers of this fiction because if you make a mistake they are going to destroy you. Sometimes you made choices in life that are the wrong ones but in that moment you think that they are the best. How many times in life this happened?? And im sorry but if one of my friends has a problem, like Xander have, I woul never think of killing him, come on!!!!! He obviously need help, mayor help. Spike killed thousand of people and destroyed countless families but, of course, we dont think about that, he is the poor guy, we must feel sorry for him, because he is trying to change. So if we believe that Spike can change, why not Xander?? why cannot help him? Oh right, because Xander is the bad guy and the bad guy always deserved to die.
In one moment Dawn said: he deserved worst. That part was the saddest one , you know why? Because she easilly forgot about her life friend, the one that risk his life time and time again to help Buffy abd her. In that moment I thought: what a fucking bitch!!!! And when all is clear again they are going to blame Buffy time and time again and I will have to see this pathetic Buffy that grovel and feel sorry for herserl all the time. And I would think again where her true friends lies?

oops, didn't mean to leave the bold on, in the last review. Anyway, I hope Spike doesn't get dusted. I hope he remains undead to settle a few scores and take back what was his.

A tad melodramatic but hey, what do we live for? And I must say, you've certainly worked us into an interesting dilemma.

If Xander is killed - no matter who did the deed - the scoobies will be even more fractured than they are now and there will be no coming back. They would never heal and Buffy would never forgive herself for allowing her friends to destroy themselves. That in turn would destroy her.

Spike, of course sees this, so he is sacrificing himself for them, for her. As always.

Allowing Xander to live would be devilishly evil. I love it! In fact, other than having Spike sacrifice himself I really don't see any other way to resolve this that won't require some long drawn out, highly emotional and angsty process. Let's face it, Xander has so much to atone for that he'll need several lifetimes before he can even begin to hope for forgiveness. Sure, the Scoobies are all eager and ready to forgive (at least most of the time) but this is not the case with Willow killing Warren. First, Warren wasn't a fellow scooby and he was currently a threat who tried to kill Buffy and killed Tara. Spike on the other hand, is at the very least a "scooby by association" and he is hardly a threat at all. He's more of an asset, not to mention Dawn's best friend and Buffy's former friend with benefits. Xander's actions have a far greater effect on the group and therefore cannot be so easily swept under the rug. It may be hypocritical but it's true. As far as I am concerned, Xander should be treated as a social leper; an outcast.
As for Buffy, well, I know she had a hard time accepting the truth. Anyone would - that is not my problem with her. My problem is how she went about it. She doesn't deserve Spike either for placing her need to clear Xander over Spike's need for protection. If Spike ends up a big pile of dust after this, well, I say, Rest in Peace, Spike. His torment (in the form of Xander and Buffy) needs to end.
