BASTARD!!! HE BETTER NOT DO ANYTHING TO HER!!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. god why cant anything go right between buffy and spike, they really need to talk and work some of their issues out. i hope things work out and that buffy and spike get closer. also i hope he doesnt cause her any trouble and leaves them alone. PLEASE update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more. THANX

Uh-huh.. not a nice meeting (not Eli, that was kind of cute when he admired Buffy's ability to ride /jump so high). Burbank makes me worried; Buffy found a new enemy.

OK, alright, now you're going and making this an even better story ... adding an element of "evil" to the mix. This just gets better and better. Loving every syllable. Keep it up and you're going to give Gone With the Wind a run. (already have better looking cast ... heehee)

Completely awesome chapter. Action and romance (well, a little). William is trying (unsuccessfully) to control his attraction for Elizabeth, and vice versa. But you have done such an excellent job of showing them to be perfect for each other... they really do "need" to be together once they get past their issues.

I think this is so good. I don't know if it's the period thing or what but it's all bodice ripping under the surface tension and I can't get enough. William has quite possibly met his match here (in more ways than one). Elizabeth is probably so unlike the women that he is used to meeting. Can't wait for their talk, unless she tries something stupid. So looking forward to more.

This chapter was so well described that as I read it I got absolutely lost in the words and felt as though I was standing in the storm watching the whole scence transpire. William knows her ... he knows the fire in her whereas Bryant does not ... I like how you got that across. Also like how you have her knowing deep down that William must be a good man. She is seeking his approval by helping him. Another great chapter. YOU GO GIRL, YOU GO !!!

So glad to finally se an update on this story. Love the time period. You've done such a good job with the charcters. This war wreaked such havox on the Americans, pitting them against each other. The pair have a lot to overcome and you are doing such a good job in your writing of it. Took a lot for Buffy to just rush in and help the enemy. Can't wait to see how you'll be writing the rest of it. Very much look forward to next update. Hope we don't have to wait so long. Thanks for the update.

This is such a great chapter. Elizabeth shows William that she is made of good "stuff" by being willing to go out and help his soldiers after everything she has been through. They may have a long way to go, but they sure have come a long way too.

Great character development and this plot is simply wonderful ... so original. Hope you are in the mood to crank out a chapter a day for the next few weeks ... (OK, that was a joke, but I am crossing my fingers that you get in the mood to write more soon ... LOVE this tale!!)
