I dislike this Giles.. At least his idea that William was some sexual predator made Buffy got to Angel for answers.
Finally... Buffy has come to certain realizations about Spike/William vampires and love.. And the ring. Yet hate that she hits him and hopefully she can love Spike and not "do that again". Hope.

Oh poop. I just wrote the longest review I've EVER written, and it didn't go through. :( And I'm too tired to rewrite, and I kind of LOST the gist of it, so just going to say that this update was fabulous, as usual, and that it's made everything so clear between Spike and Buffy. Really impressive character development and plot growth, allowing us to see the equal amount of hurt distributed to them both, and how once they acknowledge their equality in this matter, that they're on the same level, they can overcome obstacles, etc. Hoping whatever problems from Giles etc. won't be as great now that they SEEM to be getting over their issues! Love this fic!

Wow... I've read your fic from ch. 1 to ch. 50 over the past week and it's been just great. Can't wait to see what happens next! It can be hard to find a Spuffy fic with character development/study, and you've gone and added a spectacular plot on top of that. Thank you!
I have to tell you, the only thing that made reading the chapters featuring mass-murdering Spike difficult was that I so badly wanted to know what would happen when everything came together in the present. Also, in reaction to your post about whay Spike fans are so loyal, what can I say... it's all about redemption. He may have commited despicable acts in the past, he may still be tempted to indulge his most base instincts even now with his chip/conscience/soul, etc, but he makes an effort to redeem himself. That and James Marsters does an incredible job playing him. : )

Amazing stuff. I love how she went to Angel to ask about those thoughts swirling through her head. The whole scene was great. It's great that she's getting closer to seeing the true nature of vampires and souls and such. This just gets better and better. I can't stop reading it. Great work!

What if her dream does mean something how cool would that be if everything that happened was suppose to happen and her going back to fall in love wilh William was and is her calling.
I feel like Giles is going to confront Spike like he set out to seduce buffy but really it was the other way around I wonder how he will handle it.
Anya always asks the best questiions when it comes to Spike I always hated how Xander could over look Anyas past but never anyone elses it always make me think less of Xander for being very closed minded unless it suits his needs.

Im glad Buffy is going out and getting answers out side of Giles and away from her friends. I couldnt believe they were all sitting around discussing her tests and stuff like she was a episode of a tv show I would take off too if I was in her place.
This talke with Angel with help her close the door on their relationship andd help her find out if she wants one with Spike/Will

Exactly! I think Buffy will have to come to terms with the fact that William had dark thoughts (as we all do at one time or another) and it was the lack of a conscience, not the lack of a heart, that led him down the paths he took. Thank you so much for reviewing. :-D
