The rest was more revealing; even if Buffy didn't caught Angel she heard him confess. *sigh* Poor one.
She has to end things with Angel now, the sooner the better.
And Spike thinks she's hurt because of the knee? I bet Angel did hurt her more.

I'm really enjoying this thus far! The building attraction is just right, you're not laying it on too thick like some fics do right from the get-go. What's more, you're doing it in a believable manner that hasn't sacrificed the main operating premise of each character: Spike's still got his sights set on running the hotel, and Buffy's still focused on finding out about her husband.

Looking forward to the next chapter :)

I love that line, I could just see him in my head as I read it.
