Adored it! Loved Buffy's "This doesn't mean we're friends" line.

I'm glad that Spike loved Rupert too, it would have been sad if he really was only in it for the money- it's great to see some levels of depth to his character. And as for 'having his reasons' for not calling or visiting Giles, well... I can't wait for Buffy to figure him out =)

I just read the first three chapters, and this one will definitely go on my list of stories to follow! It's a great premise and I'm curious to find out what the reasoning is behind the month and a half timeframe....

Awwh, he didn't mean it like that, but saying rash things in the heat of the moment has always been one of Spike's stumbles. I love that you have him down to a 't' already.

This chapter was greatgreatgreat, and pretty much pumped-full of promise about the lust fueled sparring which I'm sure is to come :)

Love this premise! Particularly the fact that it's going to start out all angsty, and then blossom into something so pretty.

Great idea too! I love the fact that Buffy trusts Giles [even with his wacky beyond-the-grave judgements!] I trust that he knows what he's doing too!
