Ch. 4) Awe, purring vampire :) And now he believes Buffy, that's worth even more.
Ch. 5) Why don't I wonder that Angel can think of Buffy without having to think of Spike? He was able to forgot that he may not be dust very easily. *grumble*
And he forgot about the rule that the groom shouldn't see the bride before the wedding (yeah I know more about seeing her in her wedding-dress but it didn't bring Angel luck to try to see her *g*). Thank god for house phones. Seems to after Xander got to 'endure' human Angel he's ready to welcome Spike back ;-) As Buffy is to Angel more of a status symbol, his reward. Indeed he never spoke that he loves her in his speech why Buffy is the one for him. Xander is wrong: For now it went well but Angel promised not to give up....

Love love love it, that was such a fab chapter. I have a big grin on my face and let out an audible sigh at the end. Angel's not going to be happy but it could be assumed he realised Buffy would pick Spike and that's why he let her believe he'd dusted. If it comes down to a physical fight, Angel's human now so probably couldn't take Spike anyway, assuming he played fair. Really really looking forward to more.

It's been three years? Spike took his time indeed. I'm glad that he couldn't resist to have the song played and Buffy found out; Angel's kind of truth too. I wonder if Angel knew or feared he wouldn't have a chance with her when Buffy would know that Spike wasn't dust, that she would have gone looking for him.
Good to see that Buffy won't marry Angel anyway; at last this convinced Spike not to run again. Maybe Buffy would have hunted him down now in any case ;-)

I know that the bangel doesn't last - I cheated and checked the end before I started reading *gg*
Yeah, Angel isn't so strong as he was before. His old fault, thinking Buffy needs normal. One more point that he is jealous of Spike? Loved Willow's reminder that she was there at the table *gg*
Angel chose only B. Manilow's song for the wedding? Doesn't seem as if he had asked Buffy or if she cared what music was played. That was different in the past.
Angel did bent the past (his story what happened with the Black Thorn) like he wanted it. Never told Buffy that he didn't see Spike dusting?
At last Buffy seems to open her eyes now.
