Buffy trusting spike is a first... but then this Buffy doesn't have the past (= hurt) that the original Buffy had. *sigh* And now he took Spike's intentions wrong and feels rejected again.
Good that Dawn talked to Spike :) I hope it got him thinking a bit about the 'what if's.
Oh another twist.. without Buffy no more slayers. Well they better keep her alive then (and immortal, huh?) Because she is only mortal...

i'm a bit confused. why are they all acting like this is their buffy just without her memories? this is a younger buffy, so of course she wouldn't remember any of that stuff because it never happened to her yet. so, i doubt she would suddenly get her memories back like spike fears since none of that stuff has happened to her. i'm wondering if their buffy is somehow in the past, or if she'll ever come back. i can understand why spike would be hesitant, this buffy is just a kid. same age as dawn, i would probably be weirded out if i were him, but i do like that this buffy is willing to give him a chance.

OK. I know I'm channeling Beavis and Butthead, but I almost had soda coming out of my nose when Buffy mentioned Spike preventing some horny demon from ramming into her. :)

Good argument Tara had why the others are so against this Buffy.
The others (mostly Willow and Xander) are quick to fear the worst of Spike. They forget too easy how much he has helped in the past.
Loved Buffy standing up for him.

This was a great chap. I really love this Buffy. Willow is scaring the crap out of me here. Didn't you like her better when she used to say cute things like "Do you see this banana? I'm going to eat it right now, recess be damned!" I hope someone gives her a smack before she screws everything up. I love your writing. Can't wait for more.

The others have difficulties to accept this Buffy, huh? That doesn't include Dawn; Spike accepts Buffy like she is. ~ Mmm the chip doesn't work? Then there is no reason that Spike couldn't train with Buffy like she wanted. ~ Uh-huh... Tara told Willow but she isn't listening. She is still searching for another spell and wouldn't have trouble to let the younger Buffy vanish again. Tara said it right: She's playing God.

I like that this Buffy is wary of the changes in her group of friends. Her awareness that Willow was sort of monitoring her conversation with Dawn was intriguing. She doesn't seem to need to be in their good graces, so quentioning their actions and motives will be an interesting plot twist.

Oooh, very, very interesting!!! Love that Spike's the one to tell her about her death, especially since he's the only one---besides Dawn---willing to tell her the whole truth. Ooh, and Buffy being suspicious of Willow and Xander...priceless!! I can't wait for another chapter, especially after that cliffy.

Glad to see Buffy getting along well with Dawn. Willow? She hardened too. Too much playing with magic gets in her head. And she didn't tell Buffy about her other death? Still keeping secrets. Loved Buffy's remark in answer what Xander said (weird obsession); she's right about that *gg*. Anya explained.. mmh looks like Willow thinks already about getting that other Buffy back out of Hell (Heaven). She doesn't know when to stop (but maybe I'm to quick to assume things).
