Another wonderful chapter. Love how they are working their ways so inextricably into each others lives. He is her guardian if nothing else. Something she's always needed even when she thinks she doesn't. Very touching and very telling. Great chapter.

Why has it taken me this long to find this sequel? It's wonderful! I love the various incarnations of Buffy & Spike and how even when they're not with 'their' opposite number the chemistry is still there. I'm waiting for Dawn to pop into all their lives and let them all know what's going on...
I'm going to hazard a guess here... 'YoungBuffy' and 'EvilSpike' have been sent way way into the future haven't they? No more Slayers there... 'cos Willow activated them all and then no more were called when they died... so YoungBuffy has been sent there to start the line off again?
I look forward to being proved right... or possibly wrong... but the journey promises to be fascinating either way!

These two humans did indeed have no good intentions. Getting Spike a key is a better solution indeed.
Loved the way Spike too care of her, tried to reassure her (promising to take her to a club).

It's a kind of trust when Buffy had such a good time that she forget that Spike is a vampire. But only almost. Two humans were hiding near Buffy's house? Doesn't sound good. We'll see how it goes; at last Spike found Clem (or he him) and can get this town a bit better.

Author's Response: Yep - he had her completely forgetting for a while there. Clem can be a big help if he wants to - bring Spike up to speed on what's what in that town if not in the world.

The truth coming to light. At least bits of it. I do hope she'll learn some things without having to suffer through them in this universe. I wonder if Dawn will come to visit this Buffy and Spike, too, even though I know neither would have any reason to know who she is. Cause I have to wonder if Spike would feel any better to know that that Buffy was left not alone, but with her Spike. Yep... really gonna have to start giving them numbers. Great chapter, please, update soon.

Author's Response: Hee! Yep, I may have to start calling them Buffy 2.0 and Spike 2.0 or something. Although, right now it's pretty easy to keep them separate - what with them being in very different places. I hope I can keep that up! Thanks for reading.

This Spike didn't like to be compared to Angel, not at all. Good that there were some vamps so he could work out a bit.
With Sunnydale there being so different some things won't happen; so no need to worry Buffy about it. Other things will happen that didn't before.

Poor little girl. Sure is a lot to take in when you're just seventeen. Got to wonder where she is now that's not California, and why she wouldnt' know. Interesting. Love her trusing Spike, though. Even though she really doesn't know why.

Author's Response: Yep, she's had a rough time. I'm probably not going to go much into this alternate dimension's political map - it has obvious similarities to our world, but in other ways it is quite different.
