Aww... The bedroom scene was sweet, gotta love that although Spike is a gentleman he's still naughty enough to steal Buffy's underwear... I'm sure she'll forgive him though. ;-) Buffy's day of pampering was marvelous, Spike really thought of everything. Can't wait for their big evening to start. Wonderful chapter!

Oh carino, you know I thank God I met you everyday. You're more than a good friend, beta, someone to plot with, you're like a sister to me - always there to help me whether its RL or writing. This chapter was such a lovely one to help you with. And gracias for the knickers scene - I wanted to see him do that soooooo bad. Your Spike has every reader swooning and pining for one of their own and next chapter - perhaps just a little bit more, lol. Loved the 'banter' between Buffy and Anne (if you can call Buffy's questioning so).

I love the dress, although it did look differnet in my head. I bet every female reading that chapter wished they were in Buffy's place right now. All that pampering and celeb treatment. Spike really did pull out all the stops. I can imagine it was quite hard to right because you don't live here in England, but every detail about London was right, so you did a billant job and keep up the good work.

Quite a day!!
The end has a repeated section of Spike finishing the painting after Buffy hears a knock on her door. Is the knock on the door the end of the chapter?
I'm not usually crazy about a lot of Zac Posen's work, but I like that dress a lot. For some reason, a lot of short actresses like to wear his dresses, but they don't have them altered, so you end up with this tall girl's dress hanging off a petite frame. I'm glad you thought of specifying Buffy's size.

What a detour...you should work for the transportation department, detours like that would have people lining up to... well.... line up! I'd take a Spike detour anytime.
