I feared that after reading that Giles decided to stay: There he s again. OH! He's staying in Sunnydale, not leaving again. Maybe the decision to stay will get him bet in better graces so to say.

That's a huge step for Giles, moving his whole family to be near Spike. I hope Spike gives him a chance to prove he's changed.

I enjoyed the Spuffy scene, it's great to see that Spike is feeling a little bit better in this chapter. I also enjoyed Giles' talk with Spike, I think giving Spike some space is good move on Giles' part. Fantastic update!

I agree with you demona, on about life being too short. But Spike didn't do anything wrong. So, what misdeeds does he have. If you are talking about what he and Dru did in their bedroom. That really isn't a misdeed. My opinion anyways.

As one of many people who probably had at least one of their parents just up and leave. I know I can relate to what Spike feels. And Giles not only left but he left when Spike was losing one of his other parents. So, that is a lot to take. And I agree that Spike should forgive, Giles. But I don't think it really is realistic if Spike just forgave him just like that. That most of the time takes time and to slowly built back your relationship.

Giles did good by moving. Otherwise, I don't think Giles and Spike will ever have a son and father relationship again. Or any kind of relationship. But I don't want Spike to just forgive him just because Giles is moving back there. Giles is going to have to work at it and get Spike to trust him.

Spike is going through so much right now. with what happened with Dru and trying to work out his emotions with that. I didn't really like how he just forgave Buffy right away. She just stopped talking to him and came back into his life so easily. I didn't like that. But I can see that happening. But I can' t see him forgiving Giles just like that.

I think Spike is probably going to have get some professional help. It is great that he is talking with Buffy about it. But I still do think spike may need to talk to someone who is trained to help people. He probably never really talked about his mother passing and his father leaving them. So, I can only imagine that Spike has a lot of deep feelings that need to let out. Then Dru and then Buffy. Which is why I feel that professional help will probably be best for Spike. And I just want to hug Spike and don't ever let him go. Well, I always want to do with Spike among other things. LOL

YAY IM SO GLAD THAT GILES IS STAYING AND I HOPE THAT THEY WORK THINGS OUT!!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. im glad that giles is staying there and that hes trying to prove to spike that hes changed and make up for lost time. also i loved that buffy was soo protective of spike when giles came, it was so cute. i really hope that giles and spike talk and that he forgives him. also i hope that things continue to get better for spike and buffy and that they stay together and happy. Good girl, your Buffy is a very smart woman. Now I hope Spike can try and get passed this. It's time to live in the now and put the past behind him, they can get through it together. Great emotional chapter=)
