Nice start. I really like it so far. At first I thought the girl might be homeless and Spike would end up keeping her, but this is great too. I'm glad Buffy didn't turn out to be a bad mother or anything like that. And though she was mean to Spike, I can understand. If a strange man showed up on my doorstep with my child I wouldn’t be too happy.
Hmmm... I have a feeling they'll either run into him at the video store or he'll deliver the pizza or something.
