Can't think why I have never read this story before, but just had to let you know how much I loved it. No big fights, no cliffhangers and no sex, but you managed to hold my interest throughout with Buffy & Spike's slowly developing relationship as her 'friends' got on with their lives without her - as they likely would have done if she hadn't died on the tower. Goos work. Now to see if I've missed any of your others....

This is the first story I've read that you've written and it's really good. I don't usually like the Slayer-lite stories (I don't even read the all human ones - what's the point...?) but this is well written, the characterisation is good, and we get a happy ending - what's not to like?
Perhaps my favourite bit is realising I've another 40 stories of yours to read now...

This is the 2nd time I've read this. I love everything about it, espcially the watching television with his family scene. spike is so much a family kind of guy. It hurt my heart on the series when Buffy told Angel that she couldn't picture her & Spike having grandchildren together. Thank you for this tale.

Hey Addie, I love all your fics, but this, I must say is my favourite. It made me a bit tear-ey, actually. I was starting to forget why I loved Spuffy so much, thank you for helping me remember. I think this is perfect as a one shot, I wouldn't have it any other way. And this goes perfectly with a lot of questions I had about Buffy's friends, and it's just......perfect. I love the whole 'domestic home' part, well, because it's such a great idea and they fit with the part and I actually remember reading somewhere that a writer for Buffy quoted that she could never see Buffy and Spike in a domestic situation like she could see Buffy and Angel, cuz Spike doesn't have it in him to be 'mild'. Well, I wish I could send her this fic so she could bloody well open her eyes, and....sorry, babbling. Well, I loved it, excellent fic....and yes, shutting up now.
