I absolutely started cracking up at this line,"...slowly turn into a vampire, like those women in old horror movies who always seemed to be lying around in bed, wasting away?". Great chapter, Anya is always Anya no matter what story I see her in.

ok... a second time :). Found it pretty good this chapter. Anja was so funny here... and she's so supportive of Buffys relationship!
And I see big chat coming up when Spike lied about his Vamp-status. Or I'm wrong and he isn't a vamp :) could be!
I really hope seeing a new chapter soon :)... can't wait for this story to go on!

This rings true for a lot of women: "She was realizing now how much she’d turned her dissatisfaction with her marriage inward, blaming herself not only for her and Riley’s tepid sex life, but also for the ever-growing chasm that seemed to stretch between them." Buffy being so empowered by her feelings of self worth and sensuality fueled her confrontation with Riley. She was pitch perfect, but he's really not listening. She'd better change those locks.
