There are more and more signs for Buffy to see that Spike is different. Yet it's too unbelievable so suspect he is something else, huh?
I'm glad that after meeting Spike Buffy got more confident, staying by herself (not letting Riley talk her into talking him back). ~ Enjoyed the update :)

Interesting. I actually can understand some of what Riley was saying about the importance of their marriage. But, I love Buffy standing up for herself and not falling into his traps of trying to make her feel responsible and less than a woman. Buffy is strong and smart and maybe a part of her knew all along that she needed to hold onto her independence when she married Riley; maybe that's why she kept using her maiden name and kept her own accounts.
The part I'm looking forward to is the inevitable confrontation between Buffy/Spike/Riley. I can't wait to see how you weave that.
Again, I LOVE Spike in this, mysterious and intriguing. Buffy really has no idea what she's getting into and it's making for incredible suspense. Please update soon. Love this story!

Riley is kinda psycho-- I'm afraid of what he might try to do in the future. : It's so great, though, how Spike really healed all the wounds Buffy had from her marriage; excellent insight in this chapter. Eeek, I'm sooo afraid of Riley though! He's unstable, to say the least. Enjoying this fic very much, can't wait for another update!

How pathetic of Riley to believe that Buffy would forgive him... I'm glad she didn't. It was amusing, the interaction between Riley and Buffy :)

Awesome chapter. How she had the strength to leave Spike in a big, warm bed with the promise of more lovin' is beyond me. Bet she would've stayed if she'd known she'd end up having a confrontation with soon to be ex. Loved the chapter. Loved the backbone Buffy showed.

Loving this! Absolutely loving it. Your stories are so intense and sensual. This one is no exception. I'm hooked. I love Spike with strength and hutzpa. I've never been much of a fan of sweet puppy Spike although he does have his monents. The way your writing this, with Buffy even sensing Spike's strength, is incredibly hot. Can't wait for more. :)
