I like that Spike feels just as strong a connection to Buffy as she does him. And he's a very patient lover - good combination. YAY for the bit of kink with the biting and wow - gotta love vampire strength. That was wicked hot with him breaking free to take her hard... GAH!

I love the true to life conversation as well as this surreal Spike characterization (too bad he can't be true to life eh?)

This began as a playful interlude, then turned intensely erotic . Their dialogue is delightful. Buffy's open and willing and Spike's sexy as all get out.

The underlying tension of Spike's nature adds a frisson of unease. How is he going to explain pulling the shackles from the wall (if that's what happened)? Shoddy construction? I'm looking forward to finding out.

Thanks for another sharp, entertaining chapter.

Oooh, the manicles suddenly gone, the "I-likey-the-bitey"... more clues that Buffy is just too darn shagged out to pick up on.
