I want you to know that this is one of the best stories I have ever read on this site. I check 2-3 times a day to see if you have updated. You are handling this difficult subject matter beautifully and as someone else pointed out they are both wearing their hearts on their sleeves but the other one can't see it.

I especially love how Spike seems to agree to things before his defense mechanism kicks in....love it.

Lots of inner struggle and angst in this chapter. It made it a gooooood read! : ). They're so cute!! You managed the line between just enough inner turmoil and too much; and you did it admirably well, I thought. Another wonderful chapter. Looking forward to reading about the date.

What a great chapter! I love how they both desperately want to be with each other on the inside, but on the outside it's all eggshells and uncertanty. They're both wearing their heart on their sleeve, but the other just can't see it.

I'm glad that Spike is finally able to open himself up to happiness, even if it's only one day at a time as far as he's concerned. That's how it starts sometimes, especially for someone as traumatized and guarded as Spike.

Okay Pet, Hand on heart this is the only fic i've ever read that truly has me desperate for updates!! I've really enjoyed others but i've been chilled about updates - this one I check every day in the hope! It is beautifully written and i just love how you are portraying Spike especially! Only problem is .....i wish I hadn't found it until it was complete! It's torture even tho you update quickly!! LOL (Have put your other fic on my faves list but won't peek until it's finished!! Tee hee!) Amazing! :)
