Poor, confused Spike doesn't understand why Buffy keeps getting to him and making him act like someone other than himself. Maybe he's not as dead inside as he thinks! And I thinks it's possible the nightmares are getting worse b/c he's finally settled somewhere, but he's not really moving on with his life just hiding from his past and leading this painful, solitary existence. Ok, wow, love that this story has me putting my psych minor to use!

YAY! A lunch date... kinda. And yeah you're right, I never liked Xander in the show, and I don't like him here. I'm glad that's how you're protraying them both, cuz I always thought they should just but out of Buffy's life, even though they never did. Funny indeed that Buffy finds Spike right before her doorstep after she kept looking for him the whole town.
And Buffy has a way to convince him to do things even if she doesn't want to. That could make things more interesting. ~ Till next part :)

i actually don't want to hate willow and xander, and was hoping you would redeem them in this, but it doesn't sound like you will. i can understand xander being an ass, but why willow? buffy should have someone on her side, well, i'm hoping that would change later on.

I'm glad Buffy said she'd been looking for him! And that excuse he came up with? It was so lame.. great! I was almost doing a happy dance when he agreed to come with her ;)
