Love that moment when Joyce catches them. That was a wonderful scene. Joyce's offer came at the perfect moment. It's about time that good things start to happen for Spike. He deserves some luck after all he's been through.

I know this is out of the blue. But if I remember correctly. Didn't you kind of hinted way back that Xander is gay or bi. That he was attracted to Spike and that is why he had issues with Spike. At least I think that it was this story. If it is then I was just curious to see if you are ever going to bring that up again in the story. Don't feel like you have to though.
I love this story very much. I love how real it seems. My heart just breaks for Spike and what he had to go through and still is going through. What people don't understand about being abused as a child. Those feelings never go away. You can be ok for the most part. But sometimes those feelings of being worthless or any other feeling like that can show up again. May have to be reassure that they are loved and cared for from time to time. I feel bad for Buffy because she has to keep proving that she loves him and that he is worthy. But my heart hurts for Spike and any child that was abused by someone.
