Well I'm not a skilled therapist, but that's what you hope a victim of this type of abuse finally gets to acknowledge. So sad that so many are scarred emotionally (at minimum) by this type of circumstance. My very good friend is a counselor for young adults and the stories of their abuse is heartbreaking. I think you are dealing very well with the subject matter. Thanks for your story.

Ah! I'm so proud of him. Just so happy that he looked within himself for the words that would have made a difference to him, both after his abuse and now as a grown man, and gave them to her...and that she accepted them. Also, very cool that Buffy let him do it on his own. She knew that it would be important for him to do it on his own. Awesome chapter! Loved it.
