Oh yeah... Xander always thinks the worst of Spike and the best of Buffy. Silly boy. Glad Spike got to slap him around a bit. How are they going to get in to see Faith?

Still bossy Buffy, huh? Commanding Spike to get a car. Unexpected that his chip isn't working. But when rescuing Faith that will come in handy.

I am enjoying this story alot and am looking forward to seeing how this goes. Hopefully the misunderstandings won't go on too long. Now both Spike and Buffy feel unworthy.

Great chapter. How does the Council know Buffy has been vamped when Giles doesn't? I just love road trips with Buffy & Spike.

Author's Response: I always assumed the Council had seers to keep an eye on when a Slayer is killed and when a new one was activated, so that they would know where to send a new watcher. It's not canon, just comes from my mindverse. LOL! I love road trips with them, too. I hope you like how the road trip goes.

Good that Buffy wanted some change of clothes. Spike was at the right place at the right time. So the council knows a lot about what Buffy is now. I wonder how / if they were involved. Thoughtful of him to bring Mr. Gordo and pictures. Maybe Dawn will make the right guess (if she doesn't think Spike stole it all).
Start of the rescue mission then.... if Spike has still his Desoto he would have a vamp-proofed car.
Again, looking forward to more :)

Author's Response: Thank you. I kept trying to close the tag and the site kept unclosing it. I think I was using the wrong "forumla" to add the photo, so I simplified it and it worked.

So I guessed right (because Buffy's friends are still alive), she has her soul. Could be a slayer's thing.
Dawn will be glad to know that Buffy is alive eh un-live. Yet still her sister.
I hope Buffy and Spike can work things out. ~ I really like the start of this one. If I had time I would read the next chapter but I'm already behind my readings. So till next time! Adding ch. 3 to my memories to be sure not to miss.

BTW there's something wrong with your chapters *checks = both*, the font isn't going bigger. Try to add the closing tag for the link, you know = . The link (photobucket) goes through the whole text. I think that should fix it. ~
Using the door as a warning sign was a good ideas. Clem didn't know about it I guess. *gg*.
Oh, I first I didn't understand why the others thought that Buffy isn't alive but Spike saw her. She got turned now. So in a way Spike is still too late.
Dru... Interesting twist indeed. I wonder if Buffy is souled or not.

So Buffy's a vampire. Sired by Drusilla. I wonder if she still has her soul. I usually don't like vamp-Buffy stories but this one seems interesting, I'll definitely keep reading. Looking forward to see how Spike will react to that.
