What a cute chapter, lol. I love the pacing of this story. Everything is happening at just the right moment, not too slow, or too quickly. I'm still worried about that Angelus though, I'm sure he's gonna bring some trouble for our favorite couple. Can't wait to see what happens next, no matter how much time you need to take for yourself :D .

Having recently lost a brother to cancer, I can understand what you're going through. So definitely take how ever long you need for you and your family. I know I'll still be here whenever you're ready to return to this story. Thanks for sharing.

So sorry to hear of the illness of your loved ones. Had to take care of my mom toward the end. Difficult, but wouldn't trade those moments for anything.

Love you story. Wondered if Riley was going to turn out to be the painful memory that messed with Buffy's head and heart. Spike and Buffy need to really talk. Surpised they didn't let this drift on too long, but a good surprise.

Part of me wants to say you’ll be surprised why, another part me thinks you may not, but either way, it’s a plan of mine not to reveal why until JUST the right moment, *winks*. Ok so it might have taken me a week to read your story from start to this chapter but it was soooo worth it! I had been meaning to read it for a long time now but I was caught up in other fics and other stuff...Anyway, this story is AWESOME and I'm now currently kicking myself for not reading it earlier. ;)

I love the whole up and down thing going on and its only been like a month, not even. I really do feel that when you meet the right person you know practically from the start at least in your gut.

Dum dum DUM!!! Trouble in paradise I see! Loved the steamy massage and Buffy FINALLY jumping Spike, but of course this is Murphy's Law we're talking about here. I wonder what Buffy's gonna do about Angel now that this has happened. I love their little bitchfight too; it reminded me of Xander and Harmony's fight from Season 4. It also seems Spike hasn't grown up entirely yet, but at least he realizes part of it's his fault. And 2 steps forward you say.... Hmmm..... Definately interested to see how that goes! This story gets better and better every chapter; I am fully addicted! Can't wait for more!

As for the slapping I found it both hilarious and HOT!! People get their knickers in a knot too much about supposed 'abuse' jeezo it's not like he punched her in the face or something. In fact you took me back to my childhood to the first Snarky relationship I ever loved on a British kids show called Press Gang (which is freakin amazing btw) where a guy called (funnily enough) Spike and a girl called Lynda had a serious love hate thing going on and there was a slapping scene that you sooo reminded me of (that was both funny and hot too incidentally)
Anyhoo, anyone who's gonna complain about abuse is probably gonna get their panties in a bunch about something or other eventually no matter what you write so pay it no heed if it happens is what I say!

And yeah, some people do get their knickers twisted at the mere thought of abuse, but realistically, I only tried to portray it in a funny fashion and sorta like their canon characters - but without using fists.
