If this is your first effort then I hope you keep it up. So rich in detail. Did sort of hope that Buffy lied about being on the pill and there was a babyseat in the car, but can't have everything.

Love how you wove the lines from Buffy TVS into your story. That is always a treat when it is done well. Rejection doesn't sit well with Spike I bet. Going to be Hell to pay soon.

Hate? Never. Had to have a little Dru drama didn't we? Dru may have married Liam, but that doesn't mean she will let Spike have a life with any happiness that isn't about her. Evil thing, Drusilla.

I understand Fred and Buffy talking about Spike, Liam and Dru because it furthers the story, but Spike was so firm about his privacy when he originally talked to Buffy it was odd. Odd in that Fred would talk about Spike's private business. Otherwise I understand how it move the plot along.

wow ... just ... wow. This story is defienetly one of my favourites. it's on of those ones that are gonna stick in my head for a very long time, and then i'll read it again and it'll stick even longer. Giles & Lorne's death was sad but there will be other fics where their not lol. it's awsome, the suspense, the plot, the suprises and twists were just totally amazing. Really you deserve ALOT of credits for such a fantastic story, awsome job. keep it up =D

Hi! I found this gem among the finished stories and I've read all the way through, I couldn't stop. I loved it so much, especially how you managed to parallel Spike's life in this story with the one we know from the show. SOOO glad Buffy's attitude wasn't the same though. I can't believe this is your first story, it was such a pleasure to read. I can't wait to read more of your stories, even though I'll wait for them to be completed. Sorry, I really can't take the stress of reading WIPs *sheepish grin*. Thank you for sharing this story! :-)

I've been waiting for this story to be completed so I could read it without waiting for updates (have a few too many WIPs in storage) and was uber pleased when I came back from vacation to find it finished.

Loved your characterizations and the originality of the storyline. Very imaginative! Great story all around, I enjoyed every minute reading it and managed to finish it in one sitting.
