Oh - will we get to see an emerging Spike so Liam can get his face smashed in. What a creep! and such a total sadist!
Loved Gunn in this chapter - going from the totally unsympathetic bully to the slightly redeemed saviour.

Oh, they're both so sad. Poor William and his low self esteem and inability to read the signs! And poor Buffy, I have totally had that moment of, "Oh, no one wants to be my partner, just offer to work alone". Devastating for a teenage girl. Granted, this is only two chapters thus far but after reading "Meeting William" also, but I can already see you're going to be writing a really honest, interesting high school fic, with great layers. Can't wait to read more!

Oh poor Buffy and William! They're so cute and have no idea how to react around each other! I felt really sorry for Buffy when she got no one to pick her in History class, i used to hate it when the teacher picked someone for you! Soooo embarrassing, just like Buffy was! I'm really loving how you're playing these characters and can't wait to read more!
