I didn't think Buffy would give full disclosure so soon, but I am glad she did. This chapter went a looooong way in establishing Spuffy. Two days in a row is being more than good.

Ya know, I passed this one on by for awhile now. Read the title, skimmed the summary and decided it wasn't for me. However, today the author of this piece caught my eye.

I don't know who would be trash-talking you around the internet, I LOVE every Spuffy fic of yours that I've read. As a matter of fact, the only reason I'm giving this story a shot is because YOU wrote it. That's how great of an author I think you are. :)

Yes I do want to leave a review!! I'm so happy you updated two days in a row!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you've said you've written some ahead so I'm so glad you're not being a meany and holding out on posting them! I never got why authors did that anyway if they had the chapters written...not the point! Back to the review. This story is going ahead beautifully and it's getting more and more exciting with each new chapter. I feel so sorry for Buffy, feeling all rejected and downtrodden first by Angelus and now by what she thinks Spike is thinking. Going great!! Hope to see more of this fantabulous story soon

This is such an incredible story. I love the role reversal and seeing this from Spike's perspective, him rejecting feelings for an "evil creature." They have a long way to go to find their way towards each other given all their baggage and heartache, and I'm so looking forward to the ride. Excellent job!

Damn. You like, improve with every story - and that's SAYING something! This has gotta be my new favorite WIP. I'm just loving the way you're handling the role reversal. So many people try that, and 9 times out of 10, it's just comes out as... so immature, you know? Like that fub idea everyone wants to try but no is actually qualified to pull it off?

Great chapter sweety - glad that for whatever reason, SPike has softened to her a bit. It goes to show - wihtout saying - that maybe he recognizes a loss of a love he believed in as Buffy did, doesn't matter whether one lost it hrough death and the other through disgust from being a demon. They still share something. Can't wait for more.
