A lovely chapter. Spike really does have a way of building her self esteem. Such little things are just so very touching. Love the slamming of Harmony, too. Not that she's totally awful, but some people just need to be put in their place. Very well done Spike. Also love the ways they're falling for each other and kind of hiding the emotions behind all the sex. A truly awesome dynamic. Great chapter.

Wow, awesome chapter! Some excellent developments in their relationship, on both ends. I almost wish Spike would hurry up and confess he's falling for her, but I enjoy your angsty courtships too much! That last scene was damn intense and so hot. Looking forward to more!

The play acting has opened them up to each other and it's evolved believably into real attraction and connection. Both Spike and Buffy are beautifully drawn - conflicted and unsure each other. Spike was being manipulative, but now he wants a more substantial relationship with Buffy. I'm sure something's right around the corner waiting to muck it all up.

The unexpected blow job was erotic and charming.

It's about time Spike realized he's falling for Buffy! I love his friendship with Faith. Too many authors portray her as a slutty bitch, but I like a semi-friendly Faith.
