Wow i was relieved to find out it wasn't him, so it is his mom then, I wouldn't want to see her either. It's gotta be hard on the kid though to constantly hear that social services could take him away . Is spike gonna apologize to Buffy? Update soon.

I'm not surprise at all that Spike acted that way. Just think about for a moment. If you are a parent and your kids are the most important thing in the world. Then a stranger comes to your home and accuses you of hurting your kid. That wouldn't piss you off. I know it would piss me off. I would be like how dare someone try and say that I hurt my kid. The thing I love most in the world. I really wouldn't be thinking at the time about Buffy just wanting to make sure that Billy was ok. I would just be mad that someone would think that I was hurting my kid.

Well that didn't went well. Buffy and Spike still managed to misunderstood each other. Understandable though: Buffy just wanted to protect Billy but Spike thought he would attack him.
Still curious and want to find out more :)

I had to go back and reread chapter two, there's no way Billy would be so defiant towards Spike if he where hitting him, so whatever happened to his arm happened in LA and it was probably his Mom or his Mom's boyfriend, maybe? Oh I know your not gonna tell me , but i can't help supposing or asking , i love when i turn out to be right,and surprised 'when i"m wrong . Can;t wait for next chapter ,hurry up and post it.

For my last comment below. I hope it didn't sound like only parents who abuse their child are monsters. Anybody who abuses any child is a monster. They just make me ill.

I am putting my trust in you, Pet. That Spike is not a child abuser. Like I said my dad was abuser. He was sexually abusive. So reading about any type of child abuse makes me ill. It is beyond sad that a person could do that to a innocent child but for a parent to do that to their own child makes a person a monster.

So, I will continue reading cause I love your stories. But if Spike abuses his own child then I'm going to have to stop. It is just sick. And I wouldn't want Billy or Buffy to be with him. So, I'm going to trust you. Since the story is called LIes. I'm thinking Billy could be a little liar. : )

I can't wait to find out what happens next. My suspicions are that maybe Billy's mother was abusive and Spike wasn't around to stop it...but the bruise is new...the possibility of it being Spike would take the story in a really dark direction, and I know you're the kind of writer who could handle it!
