I'm new to this story, and I just read the previous 26 chapters in a rush, but a savoured rush. I love this story, the emotions in it and the character development. These are amazing characters and you've done amazing things with them. The emotions are powerful and raw and comforting and beautiful. You've done a wonderful job. There was a wonderful feeling of comfort and connection in this white hot chapter. They're communicating on so many different levels here in Hell, I'm left hoping this is a foundation for something that will survive back in Sunnydale. Only time will tell.

This was an erotic, emotional chapter. Buffy writing letters to keep herself anchored is wonderful, and I love the way they bolstered Spike's confidence that she really sees him and wants him. I loved this line: Borrowed time was still time. Go, Spike, seize the day!

Buffy isn't silly... after Spike's reaction (run away) she knew that some-thing was up.
That's weird indeed, thinking that Buffy is older now than Spike is. And she thought that Spike was the one who would come (and get her out). Well he is there now so she was right about that. Even if it it good they have time together now, getting acquainted (again) I hope they'll be able to get out of there soon.

Hi Mabel!

I've finished the second chapter and sending you both of them. I don't know if you're familiar with my story 'Reunited' but this one's a sequel. Basically, Buffy's staying in LA and she and Spike are trying to come to term with their relationship. There will be some angst. I've had the idea for this story for a very long time but it's all new to me, writing a long story that's general and not all human.

Now, english is not my first language and I'll be needing some help with the grammar. I always spellcheck before I send anything. Please let me know if you recieve this mail because my hotmail account has been a bit wonky in the past. Hope you'll like this story and thank you so much for offering to beta! :)

OMG I loved this chappie. The letter to Spike was wonderful,she knew it would be him to come for her. I also liked that she wants him to make love to her. She asked him, and she knows what she feels and what he feels for her is REAL.---> He didn't want her whispering words she couldn't mean.Not now. Not yet. Loved that. And the dance was erotic and sweet. Loved what he sang to her. :)

Absolutely beautiful chapters, so well written. I liked the way you wrote the last chapter, from Buffy's POV but in a sort of flashback form, I think it really worked. Well done as always, and I can't wait to see what Spike does with his crumb. :)

An absolutely heart-breaking, yet uplifting chapter: so sweet and poignant, their conversation revealing to each other a depth of feeling neither can ignore ....... or should. Awkward pauses, yes - but they both speak their minds, even show sparks of their feisty past relationship and ultimately, even with her continuing lapses of memory and his three hundred years in the Buffy-free desert, she is still the girl he loves and he is still the vampire who had always felt the sharp end of her tongue, but never her stake.

Wonderful.

I enjoyed Spike's explanation for the writing unscrambling. I'd forgotten that Buffy's perception scripted her entire hell experience. Even through her madness, this woman has had a lot of time to reflect and Spike's efforts are believably being rewarded by her softness. I loved this: "Your name is on the wall, Spike. I wanted to remember you."
