I love the story so far but am having a bit of trouble with the timeline. Did Buffy do college really late? You have her getting married in her 4th year but in the scene with Cordelia that was only 2 years ago. Buffy seems a bit old to be just out of college?

do you have a beta? if not, i would really suggest getting one, there was a lot of mistakes in this chapter. for example, you kept putting here when it should be hear, just something to think about, i'm enjoying the story.

I don't know about the rest of people reading this story. LOL But there is no way I would want my boyfriend to still be friends with his ex. I won't have it. Call me a person with trust issues. But it isn't really about not trusting them it is just something that I don't see why or how. I couldn't be friends with any of my ex's. Our relationship failed and we move on. We are not going to be friends after that. I can understand Buffy going to the funeral since Angel's mom was family to her at one time and she still probably considers her family. But after that I just don't understand them staying friends. Spike may be the young one. But I give him lots of claps for being a big guy by not saying anything to Buffy on being close with her ex. I know I wouldn't be. Buffy saying that Angel is in the the two spot of being the most important man in her life. Is just not cool. So, I'm not really liking this Buffy for this. How would Buffy like if Spike was close friends to his ex. Probably not very much.

The dinner could have been awkward but it went better then I guessed. Hard to say if of not go to the funeral, if Spike went he would only be supportive for Buffy. But it was nice of Angel to mention that he could come if he wanted.
