I'm sorry, but this chapter totally spoiled the story for me. The jump from the hesitant season 7 Spike who did the 'my eyes are clear' speech wondering if they should share the room straight to the swaggering sexy Spike who jumps Buffy as she comes out of the bathroom is far too abrupt. Also Buffy's reaction would be believable of her season 6 self, but here it just doesn't fit. I see no true affection here, no acknowledgement of deeper feelings, just spontaneous physical attraction acted upon. The smut's good though... ;o)
