I LOVED THIS! You so beautifully captured the array of teenage emotions that I was sucked back to high school and the memories of my first love. Wow! I haven't told you how much I've always LOVED this story every time I read it. It's so beautiful, perfect in every way of a young teenage crush/love. Every time I re-read it, I smile.... the whole time I was reading it.. from start to finish. Remind me so much of how it was back then ... how I've missed those feelings! *awe*

I'm hoping that you're still actively writing, because you're absolutely FANTASTIC at this... I really look forward to hear an update from you one of these days.. a new story, or new chapters of your WIPs?

This was a vividly described, emotionally satisfying ending to this charming story. Buffy's crush was almost painful to read, she was so involved. Her attempt to relax couldn't have gone more badly, but then it all turned golden. I love the image of Spike sleeping in the chair next to his bed,watching over her. Making her breakfast and stealing a kiss were a dream come true, so it's no wonder Buffy just grabbed him. She's right, Mrs. Buffy Kent does have a nice ring to it.

Thanks for the warm, charming story. It was delightful.

I guess it's a measure of the mood I'm in that I was waiting for the big letdown after Buffy had built up this perfect image of Spike in her mind. Thankfully, that didn't happen, and it stayed sweet and fluffy to the end. I adored drunk!Buffy and caretaking!Spike. It seemed like he'd built up a few fantasies about her as well-- it'd be great to see him daydreaming about making her breakfast!
