Don't worry about the time lapse between updates, you'll only stress yourself into writing substandard chapters ang end up getting bad reviews. I know I'm being careful with my two fics.
Other than that, I think this chapter was great. I was wondering when Buffy was going to make Spike move in with her. Keep up the good work and don't stress.

God, Riley is such a disgusting creep. I hated how he used that plastic stake on Spike on the show. Coward. Did he really think Buffy would get back together with him? Bye Riley, don't let the door hit you on your way out. I liked Buffy and Spike's convo and how their relationship is progressing. And it's so cute they're gonna go on a date and he's moving in. :) Yay! Spuffiness.

I am very glad this updated! I really like this story and how you're building up Spike and Buffy's relationship so naturally around the supernatural pregnancy and prophecy. Their thoughts and feelings are very in character and real for the situation, but I like how they're learning to trust each other with sharing what they feel, especially Buffy.

One mistake I noticed is in the crypt, Buffy "..watching his demon reside" should be 'recede'. Otherwise, great writing and natural build-up and I'm really looking forward to more! Great chapter.

Typical Riley reaction, he never did trust Buffy and I never understood why she didn't dump him in season 4 when he so casually assumed she had slept with Angel in LA. Also typical behaviour from Buffy, backing away from possible emotional hurt but unintentionally making it worse than it could have been. Wonder what Riley's doing to Spike... B&S must be linked because of the baby...?

After so long waiting for a chapter, and we only get a sweet taste of Spuffy before it falls apart and a sudden cliff-hanger? Ugh!

Joyce was great in this chapter, and Buffy being so honest with her feelings, and not holding onto a grudge against Spike. I hope Riley wasn't eavesdropping on them, and I can't wait to find out what's happening with Spike in the next chapter. Please update soon!

Joyce is right, Buffy should have told it Spike like she did tell Joyce. Mmmh I'm wondering if Riley did something. Hopefully Buffy will be in time.
