Good that Dana was captured again. And Travers wants B to help. Wonder if she will? I think Buffy could really help her. Is this Dana also abused? I like that Spike thought she should visit her dad at Christmas, that was sweet.

Author's Response: Thank you! Eventually, I think Buffy's going to WANT to help, because if things get too close to home, she's gonna wanna protect the people she loves.
I'm trying to decide if I want Buffy to visit her Dad or not. I think it would be interesting...because she never really did get that closure with her dad on the show. He just kinda disappeared, and I' think a scene where she talks to him about her mother's death would be really interesting.

I was amazed when Buffy in the show simply had the chip removed. That thing's killing him, and I don't want to risk this happening again when there isn't anyone around to help. That's a good reason too.
Mmmh the soul doesn't count for Xander. Regarding Spike nothing will be good enough for him, huh?
I wonder if Dana will find her way to Buffy; thought (feared) that something would happen, sooner or later.

Yay the chip is out! I wish Xander wasn't so much of an ass though. You think he would have been flabbergasted enough to at least keep quiet. I have hope that Xander can reform, he is with Anya after all. It's so depressing when he's this mean. Not liking slayer Dana at all, just because she is creepy! That amount of crazy is just darn right frightening, especially with all that power. Can't wait to see what direction you take this story. I just hope Spike doesn't get his hands cut off this time. That episode of Angel disturbs me to this day.

Yay! Loved Buffy deciding to have Spike's chip removed.And of course Xander had to put in his 2 cents, but it's kinda understandable cause he didn't know about the soul. The experience with Angelus really messed them all up. *sigh*UGH ..Riley is keeping tabs on Buffy. When he came back in "As You Were" I was literally screaming at my TV. One.Of.The.Worst.Episodes. Ever. (sorry... Riley issues.Yuck)
Oh now Dana has escaped..wonder what that means for Spike and Buffy?

I can't wait to see where you are taking this, with everything moved up just a bit in the timeframe, with The First, the inclusion of Dana, the Potentials beginning to arrive without Giles there yet and the Council still being in existence, and the Initiative still being around (Yeah! Where were they when they might've been useful either @ the end of SunnyHell or AtS NFA??? Yeah!) And of course, just loving the Spuffylovin'. I see Xander is still an ass (a rose by any other name....) here. (So if Spike DOES get the munchies, start there...) Very intense chapter! So good to see Spike back. It will be interesting to see how the gang reacts to his soul this time around, especially Xander. I would love to see Xander apologizing profusely for his stupidity! I wish he could have accepted Spike without the soul, but that was never meant to be. Excellent chapter!
