I really like this story so far. I'm interested in hearing from Spike what happened to him after Buffy left, since Willow probably doesn't know everything that happened. I'm also excited to hear what Buffy's been up to. Great story so far. I can't wait to read more!

I like it a lot so far. I'm curious as to what Buffy was up to in LA and I can't wait to see how the Spuffyness will develop.

The only other comment I have is that Spike says Buffy's name before this time here at the end when they are standing next to Giles' grave.

And I feel bad for Buffy but at the same time don't understand how you can just dump your close friends like that, but I guess life happens and before you know it, it's done. OMG poor Spike,he's really a mess*pets him*.Why would Giles commit suicide? And Spike was the one who found him? How horrible. Buffy should feel guilty for staying away, she was selfish and not a good friend. This story is really good , you write very well.

It's gonna be real angsty isn't it? Buffy has alot to make up to and Spike is so hurt right now.

Can't wait for the next chappie, and Buffy's convo w/ Willow.

Good start, but so sad. Spike kinda broke my heart, he seemed so sad to be losing her. And I guess Buffy won't keep her promise to him.:(

That's terrible that Giles killed himself. It's hard for the ones that stay behind like his own son. I wonder what made him do that.
Dawn is right with what she said - and a career can't replace your friends. Buffy could have visited more.
She has a lot to make up for - looking forward to read it.

Buffy sure does have a lot to make up to Spike and her family/friends. I agree with what Dawn said. It isn't like they had a problem with Buffy leaving. But it is when you forget your friends and family. That is the problem. It also happens a lot. So, I hope that Buffy really understands what she missed. That she earns back the trust from Spike. I feel so bad for Spike. That is a lot of close people to lose. I bet he feels so alone and at a loss. I just hurt thinking about it.

Author's Response: Indeed, Buffy made a big mistake by ignoring her friends for five years, but she'll realize how stupid she was real quick. Making it up to Spike will be hard, their relationship will never be the same again, however, things will get better. I promise. Thank you so much for reviewing!!
