Wonderful story - to see Buffy have to live through the ending of her Angel Love relationship in such a brutal and emotionally devastating way. I really like how you used Spike as the contrast and healing partner to Angel/Angelus. Good treatment for all the other characters as well. Great Reading this again.

Pretty darned sweet. The epilogue crammed a lot of stuff in, pretty rushed, and the wrap-up right at the end was rushed, too, but touching.

The whole fic would flow better and would be easier to read if the typos & other errors were fixed, such as a lot of "checks" that should be "cheeks," "boxes" that should be "boxers," "yours" that should be "you'res" (and vice versa) among other issues.

One thing re the "without a slayer" threat. Even if Buffy quit, they would still have Kendra. When Buffy gave the ultimatum on the show in season 5, the only other slayer was Faith who was A) in prison and B) probably not in a mood to cooperate with the council since they tried to kill her a few times.

Giles can be lucky to get the crumb, he really has to work on the trust thing. Even if Giles did only his job, that's not okay what the Watchers do to their slayers.
