Definitely good comments. I love this episode and fics that use it are just brilliant. Am enjoying this greatly. Love the sharp and explosive way the realisations are coming to them. its just gorgeous!

Love the familiarity bringing them all different kinds of together. And clothes really do make the monster (though I'm not quite sure where the duster came from... $150 is not replacing that coat let alone buying him Docs and an outfit including said duster). I do like the idea that they really can have a chance when they can't remember all of the reasons why they shouldn't make a go of it. And Dawn and Xander joking about vampires infront of the ER doc made me smile. Great chapter, looking forward for more.

Author's Response: I don't believe he has his duster, but if I screwed up and put that in, someone let me know. I see that as irreplacable. And I apologize if Docs are a lot more expensive? (Are they? I've never shoe-shopped for a man?) But I figured he could probably get jeans for $40 and a T for $10 or less... (I spend most of my money on comic books, folks.)

ooooh, love it. they're so cute. can we not not break the spell? like ever? they are just perfect like this. with the sweetness and the handholding and not remembering anything. and not remebering spike's name is spike and not randy... damn, almost a perfect amnesia. so close.

I really liked how you shows buffy being familiar and getting a sense about the names dawn and Buffy and how Randy and his appearance just wasn't right. I loved the kiss scene, asking Buffy to trust him. Can't wait for more!

This story is still vastly entertaining! If only Xander had done what your Alex did, then Buffy and Randy would have figured out that they well and truly liked each other. I'm very much looking forward to how they discover Randy is really Spike. Hot kissage is always sexy. Unfortunately, I always thought that part of Spike was always his uncharacteristic human-ness--breathing included. Oh well, I guess he didn't want to come up for air since he had Buffy's air to breathe.

Author's Response: I'll try to make sure the discovery of "Spike" is entertaining, so you'll totally have to let me know how I do. I can see what you mean about the breathing, however, I think whether he does or not, he'd definitely be too distracted by Buffy to keep up a front or a habit that he doesn't actually need. Personally, I just like the bizarre little details that only go with vampires, so I use them as liberally as possible. :)

I simply wanted to read the second chapter here because the BSV is wonky. But now I see you took the story down there... because of the problems with the chapters?
