Strong start. Spike's going to have a fit when he finds out what she's hiding from him.

You mentioned it's unbeta'd, so thought you might like to know about one inconsistency that I noticed: in the first para you write, "Taking one last look over her nude form he stepped out...." In the next para you write, "She hurriedly shed the over-sized t-shirt she had been wearing, balling it up and tossing it towards the garbage can."

Yikes! This fic is definitely deep and dark. You really "went there" in chapter 1. Just wanted to let you know that I think it has potential. I get the feeling that Spike has no idea what's going on and will surely blow a gasket when he finds out because I don't think they're intimate yet. This seems like it was the escalating tipping-point event of Buffy's abuse with the sheet stain. Hope you get a beta to help you with story development--it will be a better story for having a beta.

Oh my, I am so glad buffy has Spike to help through the tough time. I fear though that she is just hiding that it actually happened from her and Spike. I hope for more soon.
