God. This story is horrifying, yet I can't turn away. I don't get why all the reviewers can't follow "the jump" as they so said.
I kind of got an implication, in which if I'm right I don't want to ruin for other reviewers, in which I seriously got physical shudders. Man your good! Hauntingly brilliant!

ok, i lost here. the last chapter we see spike telling buffy that its over and now in this chapter we forward to years later where buffy is married to someone, not spike, had a daughter who we dont know who is the father of that baby and she is seeing a counselor for therapy that she is getting because of what that SOB of her mother's new bf or husband John did to her when she was a teen. a warning or some explanation would have been nice here and the top of the page. give me a backstory here to what happened to spike and buffy when they graduated high school,when did buffy finally tell her mom what that scum of her bf was doing to her, when did she find out she was preggers and who is the father? when did buffy get married and who is her husband? how did she come to meet this doctor and start seeing her ? i want to read more about this story but i need these few questions to know where the story is going

Oh time jump..I got lost for a second there...Whats this about...Spike being dead...is it just Spike metaphorically or really dead. Buffy got away from John, good. I really can't wait to see more of this, what changes has occurred in the time jump.

I think you skipped a chapter or didn't download the right chapter. Because it goes from here to when she's married....or is that what was intended? I'm confused. Great writing though!!

A good story but difficult to read. I don't understand how Spike can walk away from her, doesn't he realise what has been happening, I thought he had worked it out and why doesn't Buffy move out or get a lock on the door or report him to the Police .

Ok, I'm a bit confused. Isn't she wearing big, baggy jeans to cover the bruises? See ch. 7: "She idly traced the outline of one of the more prominent bruises, guarded by her baggy jeans."
Wouldn't he have noticed when her jeans were taken off? Maybe they were just both too eager and he'll notice when they're getting dressed?

Anyway, wow, things are blurring for Buffy. I wonder how much longer she's going to be able to hide things. Great update, thanks!

O EM GEE!!! Gosh darn golly gee!!!!! This was so sad. I had tears in my eyes the entire time especially when she flashed back. Big ass. Of course she can't say the words to him or have him say them to her. John is a big ass. Can't wait for the next update!!!! *hugs*

Awwwwwwwww. I honestly don't know what to say. It was so sad and so emotional and I had tears. I will honestly say I have thought about that stuff and I love the line "See all that blood as it just drips, drips, and drips as everything fades away." Some how that line just hit me. i can't wait for the next one sweetie. Hugs big sis!
