I can not believe I missed this! It's a brilliant story, and the Star Trek references make my nerdy heard swell. :D Great job with this sort-of "after the dust settles".

What great Spike/Xander interaction. I liked the comedy and the unexpected emotion during their conversation. Spike and Buffy's flirting was also a fun highlight. ;-) Loved the story! :D
