gotta admit my favorite part so far is the last couple of paragraphs; spike understanding exactly what buffy is going through, even though he's now at the tail end of that journey and finally opening his eyes for others. i have a feeling i'm gonna really enjoy the travels buffy and spike will take, together and individually. looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thanks CK, I'm trying desperately to update all of them as often as possible and between Catch 22, Keep on Rolling, Drown with Me, Que Sera Sera, and There's a Land that I heard of..., I am getting wicked bad finger cramps lol

this is certainly different. and i'm glad to see a buffy/spike fic that doesn't completely dis angel in a completely bad light. willow and anya in business together - that's not something i thought i'd ever see. (and i'm kinda mortified at anya's answer to that little girl, but anya's never been known for her tact). looking forward to the slow and steady friendship of buffy and spike.

Author's Response: Thank you, i have a love/hate relationship with Angel, usually hate lol, but sometimes it's good to remember there was a time i loved him (pre-season 2 of course lol) Anya has to be one of my fave characters to give voice to, there's so many ways to go with her, all which lead to smiles (or maybe that's just in my own mind lol)

Author's Response: Thanks Cordykitten, it will be good because it will be Spuffy ;) I didn't want Spike overly haunted so no accidental death, I wanted him to feel a terrible loss but with the understanding that they were never meant to be...if that makes sense? Thanks so much for the review!!!

Good to see that Buffy still enjoys certain things (or enjoys again). (The pizza.) And Spike seems to have a history to share as well. Sounds like he was together with his wife in an accident but only one survived. That's tough, too.
