I'm sorry for the quilt that Spike is probably going to feel over Lily's death but I must admit that I'm glad she is gone. I think Buffy will honor Lily's request to raise the baby and she can't do that without Spike knowing whose baby she is; beside the fact that I don't think she would ever seriously consider messing with Spike's memories. Please let it be time for some happy Spuffiness or at least don't make us wait too much longer! P.S. Thanks for such a great story!!

I knew she would die bv it was sad. This chapter was very good, very intense. Buffy will not take his memories, she knows it would be wrong. She didn't like it when Willow tried to do it.

Ooooo! Surely, Buffy won't want Spike to forget anything. I cannot see that if she truely loves him. She should keep Spike and Jennifer Anne.

Wow... simply WOW. Buffy finally learns the truth and Lily is so courageous, it amazes me. If Giles and co. had been as accepting as Robert and Lily... but now I sense a battle coming. Always looking forward to the updates.

Author's Response: No, the last part of chapter 8, was Spike, delusional from hunger, flashing back to the previous time he'd been starving and deciding to go to Buffy for help. He's still chained up, really. Thanks for loving chapter 9.

Gahh! I just love this fic. What is Buffy going to do to Giles, et al, when she finds out they have been hiding Spike from her? She will have to know soon if she is going to rescue the gorgeous Spike.

I realized that I failed to tell you how much I'm enjoying this fic inspite of it's lack of Spuffiness. It's well writen and very original. I just don't like to see either character with someone else; apart I can handle but paired with others is difficult for me to take and to have a baby involved that is not Buffy & Spike's makes it really hard. The fact that I'm still reading such a story is proof of how good it is!!

I can't help but feel that Lily and her father are up to something and I really wish she would die soon. I know she's "suppose" to be pregnant but that could all be a glamour. Either way I really want her dead soon so Please make it happen and bring on the Spuffy!

This is fascinating! I have to admit that I didn't much care for reading about Lily and Spike being together, let alone having a child. However, this is turning out to be a very interesting storyline. I don't really want to see Lily hurt but I don't want her with Spike either. You are so cruel!

My only hope now is that Lorne is an imposter helping Lily and her father decieve Spike. Please, oh PLEEEEASE let that be what's happening! Otherwise I'm not sure I can read many more chapters of this one and I really do want to finish it because other than the Spike/Lily thing this is a great fic.

I don't like this chapter as much as I'm glad for Buffy's realization the fact that Spike had sex with Lilly and she is now pregnant is wrong. Like Spike said he felt it should be Buffy he still loves her, I am confused as to what you think your doing this is Spuffy site I'm sure you have a plan but this feels bad.

Lilith in one world and Lily in this world? Hmmm....makes you think doesn't it?

So Giles is in on, but holding back information from both Spike and Buffy. Not much new there.

Buffy is finally buying a clue about Angel. Which makes Spike fathering a child with Lily very badly timed.

Me thinks the whole baby thing is a plan to bond Spike with Lily in order to put a huge wedge between Spike and Buffy. Someone is leading the characters in a special dance.
