Loved the new chapter but it confused me a bit, too. When Buffy was small she really met Spike (and growing up, later too). But all grown up Buffy thinks she's only dreaming Spike (and really only meets him in her dreams?) That's a pity. And then even Angel has to be in her dream. ;)

Well, as it did in the series, the appearance of Angel certainly muddies the waters a bit, doesn't it?
Interesting touch, her believing he's a dream, which explains why she's not scared of his vamp visage. Definitely looking forward to the next chapter (I'm so subtle ;-)).

I just checked what the Black Jewels Trilogy; I've never heard of it before.
Good twist. Love the first chapter. Little Buffy making the acquaintance of Spike was cute, she's brave (like when she touched Spike's demon face).
Enjoyed - and looking forward to more.
