This is nice. Like a meandering journey, almost feels like you're daydreaming, that kind of prose. And these are pockets that sustain and tide you over when you have no time for the multi chapter ones.

Very well done you captured the events of the timeline with few words but effective keeping that and their characters acurate. I love how you made the beginning of the story the dream real which I thought at the moment was until he did his wake up but I love where you went with that. I hate that it is left with the question if it will follow with Buffy's death but at the same time I love where you ended it because it leaves it open and I don't have to get sappy and cry.
