What a great story! I can't wait to see where you will take this. I love the way you keep us hanging at the end of each chapter. This story is great!!! I'm so intrigued with Spike and glad he "finally made it to the party" and saved Buffy as he said he would. Loved that last line of his!!!! LOL!!!

A good definition what a beta can be is here. *quote the entry*: What the hell is a beta for, anyways? Some would say proofreader, some would say idea-bouncer, some as a check and balance to ensure proper characterization, and some would say collaboration. I would say that the ideal beta is a combination of all of these.

Interesting start. But there is one thing which made this difficult to read (besides a few errors), the spacing. It was all squished together, which is very distracting. Otherwise, this story appears promising.

Very interesting summary / twist. I only tow of other story where Spike works for the Slayer but both are WIPs, one seems to be abandoned (but only a 'normal Spike').
I'd love to read more of your story, please continue. Good start.

Author's Response: :) thankyou! i read one story where spike was a male slayer, called after buffy 'died' the first time and i loved it. i like the ones where spike is human, but he'll always be a vamp to me!
