Ah I didn't come around to read it at seasonal spuffy but I read it here now.
The "Goldilocks" fits very well. Maybe one day Buffy will be able to accept it.

That was very, very clever. I had never thought of Goldilocks that way but it was just right perfect in fact. Just as her reaction the secret acceptance and yet maintaining denial of it all. I loved it and the fact that Spike was perfect for her as if there was any doubt. Awesome,

Really, really enjoyed! The combination of juicy Spuffyness and the tormented state Buffy was in during season 6 was captured perfectly! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I don't know how you came up with this idea at the last moment but you continue to amaze. It fits canon just right.
I love how you explored the bittersweet complexities of Buffy's mind during season six. Great read!
