I am a TOTAL sucker for UST between a couple who have been married/used to date/formerly in love/etc. I don't know, there is something about it that's just so much more intense then a couple who are "just friends" and playing around with being together. Don't get me wrong, I like the "just friends" scenario too, but there is something about a couple knowing each other intimately and holding themselves back that is intriguing and fun to watch play out. And you do this marvelously! Very much invested in this story and I can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Hey Demona! I'm glad you're a sucker for UST and you are invested in my story. I hope I don't disappoint. Also, for the UST between past couples, I also find it more intriguing. They know how good (hopefully) it is between them and they know each other in the most intimate way, yet they can't or won't act on it. I agree, the UST is more intense. More will be coming soon!

I like the reality of this chapter. So much like the way shit really happens. Sorry to be so blunt. I loved the chapter. The story is already great. Glad you updated. They are both frustrated at the end of this chapter... one or two more run-ins like that and i think something will explode (pun LOL)
and oooh... Spike knows how to make koktails.... yum yum yum!
As much as it was fun watching Buffy ogling Spike and vise versa, there are still sad undertones here. A once so happy couple ... well I wonder what could happen to hurt their relationship so hard.
can't wait for the next update, D! Love the way you picture things out with words alone...

ps.: Still winter Wonderland there?

But you're right, there are the sad undertones that a couple who used to be so in love have lost their way to one another. Another update will be coming soon. And yes...still big time snow here. After five feet in one month, not really seeing it as a wonderland though!

Great chapter once again. Buffy crying in the car was very sad, as was Spike thinking he'd probably never see her again. So glad she's stuck there for a while. Maybe some honest convo will commence. I also liked that little hint you dropped about the BMW and him wanting a better car for her when...hmm I'm getting more hunches as to what happened.

The PEN!! They should have listened to the pen! Those two may be better at breaking each other down than any two people, real or otherwise, but they are also better at building each other up. Yay! I was just looking forward to update on this story! Thought about it earlier today (when it started to snow outside).
Loved the fact that the Vampires and ghosts are mentioned.
It's quite awesome that she's stuck there... now my plan is, that she grabs the papers and feeds them to the flames... the fireplace was blazing conveniently in there, right? :D
Love the way you picture out everything. I felt quite cold there with Buffy. Ohh...and the love they still feel for eachother...
